SSC JE Exam is conducted by an exam conducting authority viz. Staff Selection commission which is a statutory body which conduct exam at the behest of central government.

Aspirants having Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering eligible to appear for SSC JE exam.

The age limit is generally 30 Years for general category of various departments, and for some department it is 32 Years. The cut-off date for calculation of age limit in 2023 is 01.08.2023

Sign up on https://ssc.nic.in.https://ssc.nic.in. b. Generate user ID & Password. c. Fill in the OTR (one time registration) Details. d. Select the exam SSC JE. e. Pay the requisite fee as per instructions. f. Registration is completed.

SSC JE Exam comprises to seperate exams viz. Paper-1 & Paper-2 and both of them are conducted in objective mode. Earlier Paper -2 used to be conducted in conventional mode where detailed answer writing needed to be done but from SSC JE 2023 Paper-2 will also be conducted in objective mode.
