Staff Selection Commission conducts a competitive exam every year to recruit engineers from Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts. This exam is very competitive in nature because it promises an ocean of opportunities for an aspirant in Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defense, Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Central Water Commission, Central Water Power Research Station, Directorate of Quality Assurance, Naval, Farakka Barrage Project and Military Engineer Services (MES).
